A privately owned company with manufacturing facilities in Somerset, Burnside, and Munfordville, Kentucky, Somerset Hardwood Flooring has built a strong reputation for manufacturing quality solid, engineered, prefinished, and unfinished Appalachian flooring.
From the outset, they have made a major commitment to produce the finest quality prefinished flooring — from their investment in machinery, materials, and processes to the hiring of skilled employees.
Somerset is one of North America’s largest suppliers of kiln-dried Appalachian hardwoods. The quality lumber from which they manufacture flooring is supplied by their Somerset Wood Products division. The majority of the timber processed at Somerset Wood Products comes from nearly 120 sawmills within a 150-mile radius of their plants.
Their “waste-not” philosophy and commitment to natural resources starts here, where even the bark of the tree is used for mulch!
